Teena Marie Reportedly Dies at 54
Philadelphia radio station WDAS and CNN correspondent Roland Martin are reporting that “Lovergirl” singer Teena Marie has died at age 54. Marie (a.k.a. Lady T) released 13 albums over her career, including the utterly badass Irons in the Fire.

Spy cameras designed for a BBC nature show, “Polar Bear: Spy on The Ice”, were disguised in seemingly perfect fashion and able to withstand temperatures as low as -40° C. The polar bears weren’t fooled, though, and took one look at the cameras and thought “I’M GONNA SMASH IT!”
Despite their seemingly convincing disguises, “Snow Cap,” “Ice Berg Cam,” and “Blizzard Cam” (as well as its sidekick “Snowball Cam”), did not go unnoticed by the polar bears of the Svalbard Arctic islands. Rather, the bears ended up thoroughly investigating—and by investigating I mean destroying—the cameras throughout the duration of the documentary’s shoot. Don’t try to fool polar bears, people!
Metallica Guitarist Accidentally Kicks A Kid
During a Sydney performance of “Seek And Destroy”, Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett was kicking around big black balloons on stage. It’s a happy-go-lucky time at the heavy metal concert until, uh-oh, what’s that flying in the air?
Liveleak published video from an audience member. As Hammett staggers across the stage, seeking and destroying balloons, a small child stands at the stage’s edge wearing sound-proof earmuffs and yellow pants. (Maybe a roadie’s kid?) Hammett swings his foot, kicks a balloon, and suddenly the child is flying through the air. Later, someone picks the kid up and carries him away.
